My husband and I just closed on a home using Nick as our buyer’s agent. From the very beginning he listened to what we were hoping to find and helped us through the process. With his guidance we were able to find our ideal home in the exact place we were hoping to end up! He was always quick to respond to our emails, texts or calls. Nick is a genuinely kind person and made us feel completely at ease during what can be an overwhelmingly stressful time. We can’t recommend him enough!

Nick could not have made buying our first home using a VA loan any easier or more pleasant. He was knowledgeable and thorough, patient with a million questions, and on top of every email and text (whether from us or from the sellers and their agent). He never made us feel like we were in a sales/customer relationship, which is what I worried about when first starting to look for a realtor. We always felt like he was in our corner and answered our questions honestly and with full disclosure. He is always kind and friendly. When things inevitably hiccuped, he never batted an eye. We were so fortunate to have Nick as our real estate agent. Purchasing from out of state felt like it was going to be daunting, but Nick made sure our short visit allowed us to see several types of homes in many neighborhoods. He has a lot of knowledge regarding homes and was able to either look at certain aspects of a home and/or refer to a structural engineer to determine whether opening up walls and certain remodeling would be possible. Nick was very skilled in creating our offer. His suggestions were to our advantage. With several offers on the house, we got the house with our very first offer. He made himself available for any and all questions and made the very deadline heavy process of getting to closing easy and kept us informed and on track. In addition he has had wonderful referrals for inspectors, painting, handyman, and HVAC. We felt so grateful to have someone we could trust through this whole process.

He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his industry. What we valued the most is his honesty and communication skills. We couldn’t have asked for a better home buying experience than what we had with Nick! He started early, trying to understand our needs and what we were looking for. Since we were first time home buyers, everything was new to us, and Nick was very clear in helping us to understand the process. He was ever vigilant in looking for potential houses and always happy to take us on visits. On a walkthrough, he was great about pointing out the pros and the cons of a house and keeping a sharp eye out for red flags. And he was very supportive, often checking in to see how the experience was going for us. Most importantly, his bottom line was, “you need to find the house that’s right for you,” and that’s exactly what he helped us to do!

Nick is the perfect realtor. His advice on how much to offer, which repairs to ask for after the inspection, and how to handle the several curveballs that were thrown at us all paid off… making it so we got the house we wanted at a fair price. The thing that stood out about Nick was that he always made us feel like we were his only clients. He answered every call, looked into every concern, and came to the property every time we needed him (even though it was quite a drive for him each time). The next time I buy or sell a house (or hear of anyone who does), I will absolutely call or refer Nick.

Buying and/or selling a home can be incredibly stressful and daunting. Finding the right Realtor who truly cares about you and your situation can also be hard. I Have worked with Nick twice now, selling and buying. I could not be happier with the work and service that he put into my houses. When I bought, he was able to get me an insane price in a hot sellers market and when I sold in a slow sellers market he was able to get a price that surprised me and was more than I expected. Our experience working with Nick was excellent from start to finish. We were looking for a home in a difficult market and had to rely on Nick’s expertise over and over again. Communication skills are key during a real estate transaction, and this is probably where he stands out the most. He communicated with other agents and did everything in his power to find out what was most important to the other party to help us submit a successful offer. He was in constant contact with us along the way and made sure that we were aware of what was important during the transaction. He responded to our needs immediately, and never made us feel like we were asking too many questions, or that we were being difficult (even though I knew we were!). I remember during one showing I was feeling pretty discouraged about houses being put under contract so quickly and so much over asking and I was wavering about my interest in a particular house. Nick knew that my heart wasn’t in that house and told me not to settle and to wait for the right thing, because it WOULD come along. And he was right. I think a lot of realtors would have been happy to have gotten us under contract as quickly as possible to save time, but not Nick. He wants his clients to be happy long term, and he has a good idea of what will do that because of his strong communication with us along the way. He connected us with the right people, he talked us off the ledge when we were frustrated with the market, and he helped to keep our spirits high about the search with not an ounce of pressure. He truly wanted us to be happy in the end, and that was all. And he did. We couldn’t be more grateful and we couldn’t recommend Nick more highly.
